Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all prize competitions ("Competitions") run on this website by its operator ("the Promoter", "we", "us"). By entering a Competition you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• Entrants must be aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
• Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom unless a Competition states otherwise.
• Employees of the Promoter, and anyone directly involved in running a Competition, may not enter.
• We may require proof of age, identity and eligibility before awarding any prize.

2. How to enter

• To enter, select a Competition, answer any qualifying skill question correctly where one applies, purchase your entries and complete checkout. Each entry is allocated a unique ticket number.
• A free postal entry route is available for every Competition, with odds identical to a paid entry. Send an unenclosed postcard with your full name, address, date of birth, contact email, the Competition name and your answer to the skill question to the Promoter's postal address shown on the Contact page. Each postcard counts as one entry and must be received before the Competition closes.
• Entries are subject to any per-person or per-order limits stated on the Competition page.
• Entries cannot be changed, refunded or transferred once submitted, except as required by law.

3. The draw

• Every Competition closes at the advertised closing time, or earlier if all tickets sell out where the Competition page says so.
• Winners are selected at random from all valid entries using an independently verifiable, provably-fair draw based on a public randomness beacon. A verification link is published with each result so anyone can check the outcome.
• Instant-win prizes, where offered, are allocated against ticket numbers published before entries open and are verifiable in the same way.

4. Winners and prizes

• Winners are notified using the contact details provided at entry and may be announced on this website and our social channels (first name and county only, unless the winner consents to more).
• Where a cash alternative is stated on the Competition page, the winner may choose it instead of the prize.
• Prizes are delivered to UK addresses at no cost unless the Competition page states otherwise. We may require the winner to cooperate with reasonable verification before dispatch.
• If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw, we reserve the right to re-draw from the remaining valid entries. Any re-draw is performed with the same verifiable method and is publicly recorded.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• If a Competition is cancelled before its draw, all paid entries will be refunded to the original payment method or credited to your account.
• Statutory rights are unaffected. Because each entry is a chance in a specific draw, entries are otherwise non-refundable once the draw has taken place.

6. Our liability

• We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including network or postal failures.
• Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
• To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to any entrant in connection with a Competition is limited to the amount that entrant paid to enter it.

7. Personal data

We use the personal data you provide only to run the Competitions — to record entries, contact winners and deliver prizes — and as described in our privacy information. We do not sell your data.

8. General

• We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published at the time you enter applies to your entry.
• If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case your local law and courts may apply.
